Creative writing on tabletops and devices.
I so enjoyed today's poetry session at the UK #aphasia conference in Warwick.
Beautiful writing and powerful recitals.

Had the best time exploring #MakeWrite with fellow @SLTatBCU students at the wellbeing #aphasia conference. 📄✍️ Lots of brilliant poems generated by the group, here’s one of ours!
#BASSYM22 love the work of @abracabadger - says co-design ‘brings us together to create a new space for learning & innovation’, everyone’s contributions valued - & they ended up with the wonderful creative writing app MakeWrite
#BASSYM22: @abracabadger, Speech & Language Therapist and Technologist, presents MakeWrite, a creative writing app. Co-designed with people with #aphasia, and generating evocative poetry. Look for #MakeWrite on Twitter for content generated in this way

Aphasia Creativity Poem Prompt Idea perhaps?
Love this clever autocomplete approach to poetry writing from @brian_bilston. A lovely #MakeWrite-style strategy for prompting writing. One for the #aphasia#slp / #slt toolkit methinks!

Being part of @IncaProject has been …fun, inclusive, exploratory, creative, surprising & educational! #makewrite & #comicspin have enabled creativity, flow, play, humour & exploration with abstract words and concepts - often a barrier in aphasia. Great to be at today’s event !
Download the INCA apps #free via the below thread.
MakeWrite is available free for iPad
Comic Spin is a beta version available for android.
Both apps aim to support accessible creative expression for technology users with #aphasia.

Lovely evocative poems... The author said MakeWrite enabled her to create more freely, having words to choose from and arrange. Less searching for words = more creativity perhaps?
Summer

I stand there
by the bronzing corn
the calmness
the brown hills
sunset over the
crimson fields
the day passes
vanished corn and
stacks
summers parting
