MakerBundle 1.51.0 is out with Symfony 7 (yes it's coming❗️) support.
More importantly, we've dropped support for old Symfony versions & removed a bunch of legacy code. Maker was getting bogged down with "compatibility" code - this will help it move faster!

Seems many of us are running into the issue of doing the same things over and over again.
I found the makerbundle and will probably purchase that once I have the need again.

Coming up in the next release of @symfony 's #MakerBundle `make:security:form-login` that generates the files needed to use SecurityBundle's built-in Form Login Authenticator!
No more having to generate a custom authenticator for simple form based auth

Working on a "make:security:json-login" with MakerBundle command with @JesseRushlow. Should this have the option to help you generate a "token" after auth? If so, what "types"? ApiToken entity? JWT? Something else?

MakerBundle 1.44 is here! A lot of internal modernization "make:entity" now
A) Fully-leverages property types
B) Leverages Doctrine's "type" guessing
C) Uses the Types:: constant when a type *is* needed

ALT Example Doctrine entity class showing property types, missing "type" options on ORM\Column (since they are guessed from the property type) and use of the Types constants when a type *is* needed.

Symfony recipes and the MakerBundle are soooo awesome and time savers.
IMO there is no need anymore for people to maintain their own Symfony app template (with tons of pre-installed things), eg: github.com/Kocal/symfony-app…

Y a-t-il un moyen simple de savoir quelle version du bundle il faut installer EN FONCTION de la version de Symfony qu'on utilise. Exemple : Symfony 5.1, quelle version du MakerBundle ?!

MakerBundle 1.34.0 is out with support for PHP 8 attributes when using make:entity!
