The Embassy of Israel to Ethiopia and the African Union was proud to sponsor a MasterClass on Industry 4.0 for 27 pan-African startups in the field of ManuTech, part of the UNDP Timbuktoo program. The workshop was led by visiting distinguished Israeli Smart Industry experts Eli Sarel, CEO & Founder of Smart-Sense, and Ilan Alter, CEO of AlterNet. Deputy Ambassador Tomer Bar-Lavi opened the session by emphasizing Israel's continued commitment to promoting innovation, technology, and economic cooperation with Ethiopia and across Africa. The session was held at the Addis Ababa Timbuktoo ManuTech Hub, and is part of an ongoing collaboration with UNDP and other local and international partners to bring insights from Israel, the Startup Nation, to Africa - the Continent of the Future 🇮🇱 🏭 🌍
