NC, National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC) leads Nigerian Delegation to the 5th High-Level Meeting of the Heads of Counterterrorism and Security Agencies/Marrakech Platform in El Jadida, Morocco.
The National Coordinator, National Counter Terrorism Centre represented the National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, and led the Nigerian delegation to the Fifth High-Level Meeting of the Heads of Counterterrorism and Security Agencies / Marrakech Platform, held from 9β10 June 2026 in El Jadida, Kingdom of Morocco.
The meeting was jointly organised by General Directorate for Studies and Documentation and United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism (UNOCT), bringing together over 85 delegates from across the globe to strengthen international cooperation against terrorism and violent extremism.
The Platform provided an important opportunity for participants to exchange experiences, share best practices, and deepen multilateral partnerships aimed at addressing evolving terrorist threats, preventing violent extremism, and enhancing collective security.
Nigeria remains committed to strengthening regional and international cooperation in the fight against terrorism and looks forward to continued collaboration with global partners in promoting peace, security, and stability.
