This is the amazing opportunity that we went to present to the winners of the #ProtoEV for 2019 to go over to the #NewYork in 2020 and work with the young people @HEAFNYC on the #MarsRoverProject #STEM #Coding #Engineering @sported_NW @gmchamber @nautoalliance @wiganyouthzone

The rover is so close to being drivable! We finished all of the mechanical and electrical parts necessary to have the rover drive. We almost had the programming done today but there were some small bugs that we expect to be worked out soon. Great work! #MarsRoverProject @NASAJPL

One of our best meetings yet! We finished all of the encoder and drive motor wiring, fastened the electrical board into the body, and spray painted the neck of the rover silver to match. We hope to have it driving by Saturday. Great work!!! #MarsRoverProject @NASAJPL @cghsnc

Today we finished the drive motor wires and threaded them through the rover to the main body! We plan on finishing the corner steering wiring by the end of Thursday’s meeting and attempt to finish the wiring to the head of the rover. Great work!👍 #MarsRoverProject @NASAJPL

Lots of progress! We finished soldering 2 of our 10 wires for the 6 drive motors and 4 corner steering motors. We will not be meeting tomorrow because we have to vacate the parking lot by 4 PM for the NC State game. Have a great week! #MarsRoverProject #SolderingViews @NASAJPL
