Yes! IKEA's Alex can, indeed, be seamlessly stacked to make a VERY tall Alex.
I'm using this to organize tests for current projects, which had piled into chaos. (It's too narrow for parent sheets of paper. But good for tools, prototypes, components materialslibrary stuff.)
