I took a course in high school senior year called Math4Life.
Taught me how to write a check, apply for appartments/loans, how to fix my car myself, how to budget for what I want to do in the future, how to fill out college applications, as well as job applications.

With a tiny bit of investigation...
What is this award? Who grants it? It's offered by The Math4Life Foundation. Which is a Nigerian foundation promoting math in Nigeria. Not really surprising that a Nigerian girl won a competition that's only open to people living in Nigeria. The competitors "from UK, US, and China" are children of expats -- not people selected from those countries for their math skills.
