Adding Hattrick oats to Tabu will mean more N is captured during the critical leaching period, late winter & early spring. After the first grazing the Tabu will regrow to provide valuable feed in late spring & summer until the paddock in put back into permanent pasture #Maxsyn

Dug some holes, found some worms (& some good soil structure that has improved since this time last year - after aeration). An ex-Maize paddock. This paddock has also bounced back the fastest after the rain #undergroundgoodness #digholes #soilstructure #maxsyn

MIX TETRAPLOID & DIPLOID – You can sow tetraploid perennial as a sole ryegrass (with clovers etc), but most of the ‘tetraploid effect’ is gained when mixed with a diploid = a tougher pasture. More in "The front system" on our new tetraploid ryegrass, at bit.ly/3a8sxOh
