Thanks to
@cryengine I experimented with my architecture designs the real time render technology, something very innovative in 2009, I was always impressed by the interaction of the trees when they fell, that excited me because no one used a game engine for architecture, I simply came up with the idea because of the luck of leading an office that had an excellent budget for these things, in addition to having the support of the company’s board.
My first result was a shopping center, I managed to make important advances, working with a game engine was complex but I should like it, however in 2010 I discovered Twinmotion, I was also using it for a while, I went through UNITY, UDK too (it seemed complicated to me at that time), then I worked with Quest3D to apply real physics to some things, a complex but spectacular software, it just caught me. Act-3D, the owner of Quest3D, extracted a part of this software to create Lumion, I had the privilege in 2010 to have the first
@Lumion_Japan license of my country (Venezuela), with Lumion I discovered
@SpeedTreeInc I made some trees, more than 12 years ago, my office was innovating with architecture projects with this game engine technology, I consider that I was a pioneer in my country, especially for giving it productive , very useful for the company that I was working for 15 years.
I’m still moving from software to software looking for the best of the best, as long as it generates productive results.
All this experience was thanks to
@Crytek (Crysis), who made me discover real time render 15 years ago! That’s why they’re always on my mind.
I kept myself at that time as a secret of the profession for 4 years, colleagues outside the company believed that I rendered with Vray or with
@MaxwellRender (excellent virtual lighting console, pioneers), remember that a high-resolution render at that time, lasted hours!!!, I made fun of my colleague friends saying that I had a very powerful computer, but they did not suspect that I was using a game engine to render my projects with an unimaginable speed in my profession.
I have seen how they have evolved for the better or not, all these software, I think I have already passed the experimentation stage, the AI is turning this topic into something very simple, now I find it so easy to render, that any Child can do it.
Crytek took me all this way, that’s why I will always be grateful for the experience.
Something of my story, blessings Crytek.
