i could’ve taken this to the DMs,
but i think this conversation
is bigger than just us
i appreciate the honesty, genuinely
and i hear the frustration
a lot of it isn’t even wrong when you
zoom out on the space as a whole
but i’d push back on a few things
coming from a place of love
i’m not sure what i did to deserve this energy directed at me specifically
i don’t recall ever wronging you metamu
so if this is coming from a place of something you’re carrying or are
going through, i genuinely hope
you find peace in that

maybe not in the packaging
you expected, but it has
always been there
and the “word salad” you’re describing
is actually appreciated by people

it won’t land with everyone and
it was never meant to honestly
the bro club era you’re referencing,
that’s not us, and it never was
the people who’ve actually been
here do know the difference
four years in we’ve given back through:

» opened doors for people to shine & grow
» connect with others they never would have crossed paths with otherwise
that’s not a distraction,
that’s a foundation
the music, the beer, and the clothing,
amongst a handful of other items
we’ve only scratched the surface
on what long lost actually is
and where it’s going
i refuse to quit
i refuse to fold like most do
when things get hard or
the timeline moves on
and i’ll keep leading this charge and
scaling on everything we’ve laid
the groundwork for
so before assuming,
ask questions first
the conversations worth having
rarely start with conclusions
to everyone:

No disrespect at all Peanut, as obviously a loved person in the space, but what did that word salad actually mean? Like show that to a regular person or business and they are supposed to feel something and get excited, but for what? I see you in 50 spaces daily, rarely ever talking about Long Lost. Like the bro clubs are dead. They were just status clubs that literally built nothing but followers on X and fans on spaces.. But what's the substance? Where's the "thing" that everybody keeps talking about. The internet friends are nice for nobody is there IRL, I must admit is nice to know there's people somewhere all the time, but why are most of us 90% of retail holders still just passive consumers in a charts game dressed up with colorful distractions? I'm really just doing a ton of self reflection out loud, not necessarily asking you directly. I'll keep working on being the change I want to see... 😮💨
