I got some really mad sound cues. Sound cues are powerful. I’ll give metasounds a go though for my next project.

Epic fixed the volume control on metasounds! New clamps are 12.0 and - 60.0 ( 12 is equivalent to 4.0x on the audio player and -60.0 is silence) The default volume base of 0.0 is the old 1.0x on audio player devices :) Yaaaaay they're finally useful (one component for all sounds, thanks Epic!) - another device can be yeeted into the sun :)

No. Its the wav files directly. Metasounds will replace cues eventually.

I started to study #ue5 metasounds, because I want to make some cool noises for my game. It's interesting but also totally alien to me, i don't understand what i'm doing :). Is there some examples of "machine" sounds, like beeps, motors... such kind of thing? (video with sound)

Reminds me of when I was so angry at unity for not having a metasounds equivalent that I made my own and one of the first things I made it do was auto-generate ytp's . Infinite humor
is it possible that I'm the first sound designer ever to make a fully interactable and realistic vinyl-scratcher? yall have no idea how complicated this was 🥰 (controlling the vinyl by holding left-click and moving mouse up/down, which scratches and reverses audio asset)

threw this track in there via a record player. emulated the vinyl effect via Metasounds (subtle pitch warping during runtime) mixed in with some vinyl crackle sounds
decided to turn my FPS, VHS-horror, prototype into the Trophy Room a virtual room to host all of my game dev collaborations, projects, memories, accolades, type shit hoping this room is crazy full by the end of this year
