We just wrapped up an incredible 18 weeks in the @VentureMiami Built in Miami Startup Program and I'm so excited to say we launched 100 new tech startups in Miami! 🚀
This cohort showed so much growth, grit, and ambition to tackle big problems with their companies. I'm so proud of this crew and have no doubt that they will go on to build big, valuable, technology companies here in Miami.
On Tuesday we held a graduation ceremony with
@FrancisSuarez at City Hall. Seeing these founders celebrate the startup milestone with their family, kids, and friends was super special.
Then we had Demo Day in the evening with 8 live pitches and 70 startups showcasing their products to the community. The energy and enthusiasm in the room was palpable.
This was an intensive program that pushed founders to ideate, validate, and launch a product in just a few months. Each workshop was focused on taking action and moving the ball forward each week.
There was no "playing startup" going on here. These founders took action and continuously iterated on their concepts and products leading to successful launches, traction, and fundraising.
- 18 weeks
- 40 in-person 3 hour workshops
- hundreds of hours of office hours
- hundreds of thousands of $ raised during the program
- dozens of pivots, rejections, and roadblocks that were overcome
