I can't help but feel Solana isn't going to make it long-term Right now I'm noticing them reposition to 'we are wall street', 'finance chain' messaging, which feels counter to the consumer led comms before. I have nothing against it, but It sort of feels late compared to other chains who went all in on that sooner with the apps and ecosystem to match. I also genuinely struggle to see how Solana's tech stacks up against other options My general thesis of the future has kind of always thought that Solana was 'middletech' - you know like the discman, before the iPod? The walkman was awesome (Ethereum), so was the iPod (in progress as to who/what) But the discman was pretty good, bit scuffed at times - did a lot for innovations sake but inevitably kinda just filled this weird void in the middle, a transition period of the on the go music format. Doesn't take away the impact it's had, massive, but long-term is a different beast. If anyone wants to Solana pill me, totally down to be proved wrong - maybe Solana is the iPod, idk. Fwiw in this analogy, bitcoin is 'music'
