Den svenska produktiviteten har alltså inte gynnats av 28 unicorns på två decennier. Svenskarna hade haft det bättre utan Spotify, Mildef, Lovable, Sana och andra företag.

Hur kan svensk höger vara så ointresserad av att öka svensk produktivitet o konkurrenskraft? Givetvis finns det miljardärer som tillkommer även idag o bidrar med verksamhet som ger hög produktivitet. Men produktiviteten i Sverige har inte ökat i paritet med antal miljardärer. Eftersom flera av dessa bygger sin förmögenhet på ränta på ränta, spekulation i fastigheter mm.
Om inte svensk höger var så ideologiskt förblindade skulle vi utifrån nationalekonomisk forskning kunna genomföra en bred överenskommelse om skatter, som skulle gynna tillväxten, jämlikheten, öka produktiviteten o stärka svensk konkurrenskraft. Istället vill man larva sig o föreslå sånt som ”1000 miljardärer”

I recently joined Representatives Chrissy Houlahan, Anna Paulina Luna, and Ro Khanna to introduce the Multigenerational Caregiving Data Act. This bipartisan legislation aims to close the data gap that affects millions of Americans who both care for aging parents and children. There is currently no federal survey that identifies and counts individuals who provide care across generations. This bill fixes that. Special thanks to @RepHoulahan for leading this effort.
