If the opening half of the
#NPSIndia2025 was a tantalizing first course, the second half is evolving into a full-blown, all-you-can-devour banquet of monumental victories! 🎆 Tuesday, Day 17 of this landmark series, dished out a potent blend of high-stakes drama, with Advait Rajguru stepping into the spotlight as one of the main protagonists! 🦸🏻♂️
Rajguru has become a legitimate icon of Indian poker, and his rise to the top has been breathtaking to watch. After pulling in a mind-blowing ₹4.42 Crores from online MTTs last year (with a hefty ₹2.12 Crores in profit), landing him a stunning #5 finish in the record-smashing 2024 POY race, the Bengaluru-based crusher has refused to take his foot off the gas. And Tuesday was Rajguru's day to complete the hat trick, seizing his third Gold Medal of the series by conquering
@PokerBaazi's ₹30 Lakhs GTD NPS#113
#Marathon for a crisp ₹4,01,925. 🥇🥇🥇😱
The 6:30 PM
#Marathon saw Rajguru fire three bullets before steamrolling his way through a guarantee-crushing 694-player field (1,398 total entries) in a back-breaking nine-hour-and-21-minute battle of attrition. Already a two-time NPS Gold Medalist this series, having previously conquered the NPS#32 (PLO-5)
#Megadive and NPS#48
#Megadive, Rajguru now stands shoulder-to-shoulder with Mohit Bohra (who also won his third Gold last night) as the only two players to have collected three Gold Medals in this ongoing series. 😲
It's a remarkable feat that all three of his medals in this series have come from outright wins. The
@PokerGuruStaki1 coach has now stacked up an incredible seven NPS medals (three in this series), five of which gleam with Gold, placing him among the elite group of only 12 players with three or more medals in this festival. 🙌🏻
But the rampage didn't end there. Rajguru, presently leading the
#PokerBaazi 2025 POY Leaderboard, unleashed a full-scale attack across all six NPS events on Tuesday, scooping up just under ₹4.67 Lakhs in total winnings for the day. And just like that, Rajguru is now #4 on the 2025 POY race with ₹87.30 Lakhs in tracked winnings for the year (₹57.27 Lakhs in annual profits). 🌪️🚀
📊 With 83 cashes in the series (to date) and a staggering ₹30.52 Lakhs in winnings, he has rocketed to the fourth spot on the NPS Series Leaderboard. But the implications of his third Gold Medal victory extend far beyond that – it also catapulted him to the very top of the Karnataka State Leaderboard with 30 points. Bhanu Prakash KC, who also boasts 30 points (2 Golds & 2 Silvers), is now in second place, setting up a fierce battle for state leaderboard supremacy. It's a race with high stakes – the chance to compete in the National Poker Champion showdown in Goa and a shot at that life-changing ₹1 Crore winner-takes-all prize. Rajguru also finds himself trailing Mohit Bohra (40 points) on the NPC Leaderboard. With Karnataka looking like a strong contender to make the top 12 state cutoff on the NPC Leaderboard, Rajguru's main challenge is now to fend off the persistent Bhanu Prakash if he hopes to contend for that prestigious National Poker Champion 2025 crown!
