Hey @nikitabier, X for web on linux chrome / touchscreen scrolling is a UX nightmare, as the popin modals for profile quick-view display without even tapping over the user link, and refuse to close on screen tap ANYWHERE. i'm building the new godofprompt site right now, mostly with claude code, and i keep falling into rabbit holes that make the output better.
google quietly shipped "modern web guidance." it's their web-platform expertise packaged as skills for ai coding agents. claude code, copilot cli, vercel agent skills, all of them.
here's why it matters. left alone, the model reaches for the patterns it saw most in training, which skew old. divs pretending to be modals. javascript tooltips. fixed layouts that fight every screen.
the skills retrain what it reaches for. they teach the agent the current web platform instead: css anchor positioning, container queries, the native dialog element, the popover api, real INP and LCP fixes, passkeys over password forms.
same model. better reference set. the ui comes out modern by default instead of 2019 by default.
this is the pattern i keep seeing everywhere now. the model isn't the bottleneck. what you hand it to reach for is.
