The TMC traitor MPs have been so excited by the crores given by BJP that they haven’t bothered to read the law.
Here’s why their game is already over:
👉 The “split” attempt is dead. The 91st Amendment deleted it. Forming a “separate group” has ZERO protection under law
👉 A “merger” needs the whole party to merge & not just the legislative party. They can merge ONLY if the ENTIRE TMC merged with BJP - not happening in our lifetimes. Therefore, forget 20 MPs or two-third. Even if they had 25 out of 28 signatures, they can’t “merge” with BJP
👉 There’s nothing called “separate group” without the merger of the WHOLE PARTY. No merger = no group = no protection under law
👉 Backing the NDA = DEFECTION. The moment the traitors support the BJP-led NDA or defy the party whip, they are considered to have “voluntarily given up” their membership. The act itself is sufficient without the need of any resignation (judgments in Ravi Naik; Rajendra Singh Rana et al)
Bottom line: The traitor MPs were elected on a TMC symbol. They cannot steal the people’s mandate & hand it over to BJP for a lot of crores.
Anything they try to pull off - disqualification awaits.
We will NOT allow these traitors to cheat the people of Bengal & the party that gave them their MP seats.
