#MondayReflection
One of the reasons
#KigaliYacu is clean, safe, orderly, and admired around the world is because we made a choice as a society: to respect rules and regulations.
Rules are not always convenient. Sometimes we disagree with them. Sometimes we believe they should change. And in a healthy society, people should ask questions, share ideas, and contribute to improving existing regulations.
But while rules are in place, respecting them is what allows millions of people to live, work, travel, and enjoy public spaces together in harmony. Public order cannot exist if everyone decides to create and follow their own rules.
The
#Kigali we are proud of today did not happen by chance. It is the result of collective responsibility, discipline, and a shared commitment to the common good.
To the young people of Kigali: question respectfully, contribute constructively, and help improve our city.
Change often begins with those who dare to think differently. But until rules are changed through the proper channels, respecting them remains essential to maintaining the order, safety, and quality of life that make
#KigaliYacu a city we are all proud of.
