Hanging out with students at the University of Science & Technology of China in Hefei talking OpenSolaris in Nov 2008. Even Duke came out to chat about Java with the guy there on my left. Foreshadowing?

After 14 years @Microsoft, I have moved to @Oracle. I am spearheading Java in Education strategy. It’s a monumental role change and will incent me to learn new stuff. I have all the feels about that, from major excitement to sheer terror. And I couldn’t be happier.
