It's Crash Responder Safety Week! VDOT incident responders are essential to highway safety & mobility, but every incident is dangerous. Drivers: DO YOUR PART.
When you see a responder's vehicle: 🛑 SLOW DOWN ➡️ MOVE OVER

While VDOT's crash responders play a pivotal role implementing efficient traffic control and response measures to keep Virginia moving, the most important role they play is as parents, spouses, family and friends. Get them home safe by remembering to slow down and move over.
🚨When you see flashing red, blue, amber, or hazard lights, Virginia law requires you to take action:
✅Move Over if it’s safe
⚠️Slow Down if you can’t switch lanes safely
