We’re pleased to welcome Oyin Solebo, COO at Cascador, as a Speaker at Africa VC Forum 2026.
Oyin is a venture builder, operator, and board director working at the intersection of capital, governance, and venture acceleration to scale high-impact companies across Africa.
She is Chief Operating Officer at Cascador, a leading African growth-stage accelerator that equips entrepreneurs with leadership skills, networks, and catalytic capital tailored to help them scale impactful, sustainable businesses.
Oyin also serves as Advisor at Cone Ventures Studio, co-founding and scaling Africa-focused ventures, and as Senior Advisor at Ventures 54, strengthening global investment corridors into Africa’s innovation ecosystem. Oyin is a Board Director at GiveDirectly, the global nonprofit pioneering direct cash transfers.
Previously, Oyin was Managing Director of the ARM Labs Lagos Techstars Accelerator, Techstars’ flagship Africa-based programme. During her tenure, she invested in 24 startups across fintech, e-commerce, logistics, healthtech, and cleantech - 46% of which had women co-founders - while supporting founders with capital, mentorship, and growth strategy.
Earlier in her career, Oyin co-founded Movemeback, a Google-funded and London Stock Exchange-recognised platform connecting global talent to opportunities across Africa. She began her career at Goldman Sachs in Private Wealth Management, advising ultra-high-net-worth individuals and family offices across EMEA, before joining Roland Berger as part of the founding team launching its Sub-Saharan Africa practice.
A sought-after global speaker, Oyin has delivered talks and masterclasses on African entrepreneurship, venture capital, and startup scaling across the UK, Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, UAE, Rwanda, South Africa, and the United States. Her work has been featured in outlets including BBC, Forbes Africa, France24, Arise TV, TechCabal, and Disrupt Africa.
Oyin holds an Executive MBA (with distinction) from London Business School and a BSc in Economics from the The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
