I've been looking forward to this conversation with @adaoralumina for the longest time. And when it finally happened, I was so excited to have her on the seat. The conversation was so good, I didn't want it to stop.
I think if audacity was a person, it would be Adaora. At 23, she walked into Badagry, convinced twelve truck owners to show up for an inspection, and won a contract she had no equipment to fulfil. That was just the beginning.
This conversation stayed with me because of what sits underneath the audacity.
The health scare that became the foundation of an album, the painting she created in six days that sold for multiple six figures in dollars, the two decades she spent thinking about the African creator economy before building @crea8torium, and the compelling case she makes that narrowing your expression has crippled more creatives than it has helped.
