IMO it depends. Tiktok chatters are beyond annoying and you’ll need to be on top of it for moderation - this is also with the 18 settings on. If you don’t have specific settings I’d say you can use SE live to multistream but I don’t since I split my audio (IE: Desktop, Spotify, etc) and SElive automatically merges all the audio together. Restream is what I use now and it’s fine? The TikTok chat never appears even when I’m live so I have to have TikTok open in a tab on like my iPad to moderate/read comments. TikTok’s og platform, IE: TikTok studio, is dogshit so don’t use it. It lags your computer, doesn’t work half the time and has no support via chat or email if something is wrong.
When I multistream on TikTok, I’ll usually gain about 100 follows on my TikTok account but maybe like 5 or less on my Twitch from TikTok direct. Most tiktokers aren’t following your twitch/YT from lives but some def do! Just don’t expect anything crazy in terms of numbers. It’s additionally very easy for you to get suspended from live streaming on TikTok. Back when I used TikTok live studio, I was suspended nearly every stream for my model. I wasn’t even doing anything crazy - just yapping but the AI system is ridiculously suspension heavy. I got suspended once for saying out loud “I could make a joke abt stripping and TikTok would literally ban me” and then they banned me 😀 Which they did later reverse (after I made an appeal and waited 4 days btw with a ban) but obviously, the viewers, energy and the rest where all gone. Stuff like that takes the wind outta your sails.
