She did, but Muspell (the god) brought her back to life in the Book 2 TT event to force her to battle with Fjorm and Nifl (the god). Fjorm outsmarted him by killing herself to activate Muspell's revival gem, letting her kill him and save Laegjarn. (1/2)

She got revived by the god, Muspell, as a rep to fight against Fjorm, who was chosen as Nifl’s rep. Through a loophole, Laegjarn survived the fight and became queen of Muspell afterwards.

Gotta be honest, the Muspell segment of FEH’s latest book was a disappointment.
-Surtr’s return was just some closure for Laegjarn.
-Muspell’s threat to ‘rain death’ back in the TT storyline was just him torturing Laevatein.
-The Chosen power went to the most obvious character.
