On Friday, June 12, 2026, at the @ncgop 2026 State Convention, this gentlewoman from New Hanover County rose to address the delegation to remind them of the following: We must remove the word "transgender" from the entirety of the North Carolina Republican Party platform at the state level, all county levels and any federated club level. The proper terminology we must always use, at all times, when discussing these issues, whether spoken or communicated in written form, is "trans-identifying." This must also be applied to any and all resolutions and legislative endeavors, as well be adopted by all Republican elected officials. 📍WHEREAS, we do not believe in, cosign, support, encourage or endorse any ideology, dogma, worldview or belief system that suggests that a biological male or a biological female can change sex. 📍WHEREAS, we are firmly committed to dismantling, deplatforming and defunding all entities, organizations, networks or groups that embrace or seek to codify any ideology, dogma, worldview or belief system that suggests that a biological male or a biological female can change sex. 📍WHEREAS, we recognize that there is no such thing as transgender, only trans-identifying. Language matters. We CANNOT continue to use THEIR language when communicating OUR position. To all who sought me out, stopped me in the halls or with whom I had conversations about this over the weekend, thank you. I also wish to extend deepest gratitude to NCGOP Vice Chairwoman Gay Dillard, with whom I have had in-depth conversations about this and whose encouragement to continue fighting is deeply appreciated. I also wish to thank @nhcgop County Chair, @JohnHinnant who has been extremely supportive and understands the work I do as related. To all "detransitioners," fellow pro-reality advocates and gender critical activists, I will never leave this fight. Mother had a clause in her will to please do something to protect children. She likely meant a donation to St. Jude's. I chose this instead. In the state of North Carolina, we will continue to fight for that which is real, that which is true and that which is sane. No child is born in the wrong body. No child should be subjected to irreversible medical harm. No child shall be sacrificed at the altar of gender ideology. Not in the classroom, not in the therapist's office, not with their doctors. We rebuke every aspect of this harmful ideology and, together, we will continue to fight to ensure that NC children are no longer the Queer political faction's collateral damage. Thank you. cc @simmonsncgop @SusanMillsNCGOP @mattmercer @NcfrWomen @NCHouseGOP @MyNCSenate @RobertBurns82 @NCValues @PTElephant @BrendenJonesNC @GradyforNCHouse

"Gender reassignment surgeries" is how we refer to "transgender surgeries" because there is no such thing as transgender. Also, on the @NCGOP party platform former VC Mills read aloud at convention, I wish to request we remove the word "transgender" and replace it with the word "trans-identifying." Anywhere the word "transgender" is used in ANY official capacity, it must be changed. This is 100% necessary because those of us leading the charge on fighting this contagion--the detransitioners, gender critical activists and pro-reality advocates--cannot risk Republican legislators and those writing the bills and policies becoming so comfortable with the word that it is written into law. The word "transgender" negates reality on its face. There is no such thing as transgender, only trans-identifying. This is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT. We cannot enact legislation aimed at eliminating these harmful ideologies that lead to REAL harm (like what happened to Prisha who was in NC just a few days ago to give additional testimony on her lawsuit post HB 808 override) with use of a word that negates reality on its face and actually reinforces the ideology. I know that's not what the post was about (😘) but, because we feel very strongly about this, I wanted to bring it up and hope that you fan help me move the needle on this. Thanks, Matt. cc @detransaqua @WomenAreReals @bourne_beth2345 @terfnurse @XxtraEstroGenny @ErinFriday75490

Women and girls deserve safety and privacy in their schools and communities. Contact your legislators TODAY and demand they take action to prevent males from entering female private spaces like bathrooms and locker rooms in public schools, rape crisis centers, and prisons. Your voice matters. Don't wait. 📲 ujoin.co/campaigns/4279/acti…

Did you find more people to sign up for the Tami Fitzgerald Potty Patrol? Gay people all over North Carolina are using public restrooms and Tami and Isaac are going to make sure they can't take a shit in peace. I'm sure the GOP Convention had plenty of betas for your squad.

Watch out the SPLC will label her a sexist supremacist and fund raise off her situation.

Laura Lindsey is the Chair of the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners and mother to a 17-year-old daughter in public school in Cabarrus County. She is concerned for the safety of her daughter - and all daughters in the county she serves - because boys are currently accessing girls’ bathrooms in the public schools. Her local school board is refusing to fix the problem. Yesterday, the US Department of Education opened an investigation into Cabarrus County for violating Title IX protections of women’s private spaces. Now, she is asking lawmakers to step up and Protect Our Daughters. #protectourdaughtersnc

Why don't the women in Congress protect women. When men show up to participate in women's sports, all the women should leavee.

A look back at our Legislative Day of Action for the Protect Our Daughters campaign! We started the day with a rally and press conference, then split into groups to meet with legislators and urge them to protect women and girls in private spaces including bathrooms and locker rooms in K-12 schools. We are so thankful for all who showed up and made their voices heard at the General Assembly! Learn more: ncvalues.org/ourdaughters/
