The Trump Administration has announced $297 million in additional funding for Western North Carolina as region continues to recover from Hurricane Helene. These funds will support debris removal, road and bridge repairs, utility restoration, water and sewer infrastructure projects, emergency response costs, and long-term flood mitigation efforts across western North Carolina. I am thankful that President Trump has continued to support Western NC with the largest hurricane recovery program in the history of the state - more than $9.5 billion to date - and honored that he has asked me to serve on the FEMA Review Council and help get the results NC needs.
