I enjoyed presenting at #NETConf19
BUT, disappointed to report that it:
- was ludicrously expensive for delegates AND presenters (£580)
- had the unnecessary tote bags/pens/bottles
- had the option of upgrading to a string orchestra-accompanied meal, for even more £££
You know is really shit about #academia?...ECRs paying £400 to present a 15-minute paper to less than 20 people in a small room because they think it will help them get their work out there & improve their career prospects.
#NETConf19 having been through NHS reorganisation three times @PDarbyshire you have today been like a therapist and validated all the reasons I argued against and eventually left the NHS. Thanks
I could listen to Trisha all day!! A refreshing student perspective on creative teaching and learning in healthcare through the use of art and drama #NETConf19

Indeed; technology should always support the pedagogical strategy - not drive it. Maybe more links needed between developers, technologists, and educators..🤔 #NETCONF19
