From 2% to Super Agent
People often ask me, "What made you a Super Agent?"
The answer isn't one job, one title, one degree, or one championship.
It's the journey.
I was a first-generation college student from Lakeland, Florida. Statistically, only about 2% of high school athletes ever play Division I football.
I was blessed to earn that opportunity at the University of Alabama, win a National Championship, and learn under two of the greatest coaches in football history: Nick Saban and Kirby Smart.
Football taught me how to compete.
Silicon Valley taught me how to lead.
When I entered the tech industry, less than 2% of the workforce looked like me. Yet I had the opportunity to work alongside some of the smartest people in the world at ServiceNow, a company valued at over $100 billion.
During my time there, I helped lead diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, invested in HBCUs, expanded access to technology, broadband, and affordable devices, and helped create pathways into careers for students from underserved communities.
The most rewarding part wasn't the awards.
It was watching young people get their first opportunity, earn promotions, become managers, and completely change the trajectory of their families.
Along the way, I was honored as a Silicon Valley Business Journal 40 Under 40 leader, studied at Stanford, learned from world-class innovators, and gained a front-row seat to what excellence looks like outside of sports.
At the same time, I wrote a book, founded a nonprofit, mentored hundreds of student-athletes, and helped more than 100 young people earn college opportunities and scholarships.
Today, as an NFLPA Certified Agent and Partner at Legacy Sports Advisors, I carry every lesson from those experiences with me.
The University of Alabama taught me how to compete with the best.
Silicon Valley taught me how to innovate with the best.
The NFL taught me how to negotiate with the best.
The common thread through all of it is simple:
Growth happens when you're willing to be uncomfortable, willing to learn, and willing to put yourself in rooms where excellence is the standard.
I don't consider myself a Super Agent because of contracts, awards, or titles.
I consider myself blessed because I've been able to pivot, evolve, create opportunities for others, and continuously learn from some of the best people in the world.
The mission remains the same:
Open doors. Create opportunities.
Change lives. And we're just getting started.
