We are forever grateful to everyone that enjoys Ugandan Coffee. As showcased at the just concluded #NationalScienceWeekUG - #NSW2025 , #NondaCoffee is a domestically developed brand for Global Consumption , Excellence and Presence. Our efforts are in line with H.E @KagutaMuseveni 's Value Addition and Last Mile Participation vision for Uganda's Coffee Industry. We are creating a Global Franchise of specially crafted Coffees from Uganda to the World, with support from @GovUganda through @STIsecretariat ,led by Hon. Dr @DrMusenero We strongly believe that Coffee is not just a Bean but a Science that can catapult Uganda's Economy in multiple ways.

This week, @NAGRC_DB proudly participates in the National Science Week under the theme: "Made in Uganda: Innovation to Market." Under the Productivity Acceleration Bureau, we showcased innovations aligned with the theme "Higher Value to Market," focusing on the Dairy Enterprise-highlighting improved dairy breeds, Assisted Reproductive Technologies (e.g., Embryo Transfer, Artificial Insemination services and processes), and best farming practices including livestock recording, nutrition, and animal health. We also exhibited Poultry Enterprises with innovations such as the Gas Brooder-demonstrated for its convenience, affordability, reduced risks, and wider coverage for birds. Candling machines were showcased for their role in detecting egg viability prior to incubation. Dr. Monica Musenero is a scientist who stands at the intersection of design, research, and enterprise and I applaud her commitment to making science and innovation a way of life for young people. Few scientists wear this mantle with grace and aplomb. If you missed the Science Week exhibition at Kololo last week, you missed a major opportunity to witness the change our country has gone through, and the capacity being built as a base for the next generation. The beginning of change is asking the right questions about life and the purpose of leadership in a particular field. Dr Musenero and her team at @STIsecretariat demonstrate this to me daily.
