Atlanta, GA (JUN.07.2026)-
Calls come in regularly to The Sunset Project™️ hotline asking- “What is the safest way for me to film AV safety critical failures”
The answer is clear:
Make sure you’re driving a Tesla on FSD so that you are fully protected while you are filming ‘Level 4’ AV’s that are unable to safely manage basic traffic flow.
In this case, we have a Cybertruck driver, taking a moment out of her busy day to film this Waymo causing complete havoc in an intersection with a patented sensor dysphoria freeze event.
It appears that the Waymo was challenging cross traffic to head on collision when it gave up the ghost.
Longtime viewers know that this is likely the same cause as it is every time.
The Waymo creeps forward while it waits for pedestrians to clear a crosswalk. It places itself in position that requires a completion of the turn before the next light cycle.
Then the Waymo fails to complete the turn during the light cycle and stays out in the intersection for multiple additional light cycles as traffic piles up in every direction.
This is no different than the Waymo critical safety failures that we posted 12 months ago or 18 months ago.
