Ha! Very nice Niko, Now I just have to change the code again lol. It's ok I was going to anyway before bringing the three parts together for containerized deployment: - mac collection - arp collection - resolve to hostnames Good chance to explore netutils I guess.

netutils is on my list here. There are so many features using just pure Python it is pretty awesome. Such as a generic config parser, conversions between places.

I started netutils based on a twitter thread and an idea to centralize network automation functions, nearly 1.5 years later, it's averaging 21k downloads a month and as of today we new docs (and in dark mode) and a logo!! netutils.readthedocs.io/
