Netcare911 is a lifesaver, trained personnel too. I called them recently to attend to my mom back home (I’m based in GP). They arrived eKasi within 15 minutes, stabilised her and took her to hospital.

When I called Netcare911 I didn't even need to tell them where I was. They sent a link to me via SMS and when I clicked it they received my location. 10111? Dololo 10177? Dololo 112? Dololo 082911 did the trick.

Mxm. January last year one of the cars in front of me hit a cyclist on Allandale Road. A hit and run. I called 3 emergency numbers and did not get help. The only one that I could get help from was Netcare911. Broer was stabilised. Probably eating RAF money without me now 😭

#SecureFire team members responded to a serious accident in Alberton alongside local municipal fire services, where occupants were trapped inside the vehicles. Our crews worked swiftly to extricate the entrapped patients and assisted EMS teams with triage and treatment on scene. ER24, Netcare911, Gauteng EMS, and Gauteng EMS Rescue all formed part of the coordinated emergency response. All patients were transported to nearby hospitals for further medical care. Sadly, one person succumbed to their injuries and was declared deceased at the scene. We extend our sincere condolences to the family and loved ones affected by this tragic incident.

After a Lamberts Bay, Western Cape, farmer was brutally attacked, the two attackers were found hiding in the bushes wearing blood-stained clothes. The farmer suffered severe head trauma and was treated at the scene by a local doctor. Paramedics later stabilised him before he was airlifted to hospital by Netcare911. He was attacked after finding the men attempting to steal his cattle. Albert Burger, a farmer from the area, says he was notified about the incident via a community WhatsApp group. Burger adds that this is the third crime in the area he is aware of in recent weeks. Police are investigating a case of attempted murder and stock theft.

ALSParamedics Report Just after 10am this morning ALS Paramedics responded to a horrific crash on the N3 Pietermaritzburg bound Just after the Pavilion offramp. Paramedics arrived on the scene to find chaos and carnage as they found that a light motor vehicle had collided into the rear of a Truck. The driver of the light motor vehicle and only occupant had sustained critical injuries and was found entrapped in the wreckage. Immediately the Ethekweni Fire Department was dispatched to assist. Whilst the Ethekweni Fire Department used the Jaws of Life to cut the man free Advanced Life Support Paramedics worked to stabilize the man in the vehicle. Due to the Critical injuries sustained a decision was made to call the Netcare911 Aeromedical Helicopter in to rapidly transport the patient to a level 1 Hospital for the further care that he required. Once freed the patient was placed on a Ventilator before being loaded into the awaiting Helicopter. At this stage the events leading up to the crash is unknown however SAPS and RTI were in attendance and will be investigating further.

FARMER LEFT IN CRITICAL CONDITION AFTER BRUTAL ATTACK. LAMBERTS BAY, WEST COAST, SOUTH AFRICA This afternoon West Coast Medical Rescue responded to Lamberts bay after receiving numerous calls for assistance after a farmer was brutally attacked. The patient was treated on scene by a local Doctor whilst our ambulance made their way to assist. Upon arrival paramedics further stabilized the patient who became more unstable after suffering severe head trauma. A call was made to airlift the patient to a Specialized Trauma center in Cape Town for urgent Specialized care. Netcare911 Helicopter Emergency air ambulance was called to airlift the patient. The patient was airlifted in a critical condition via Helicopter to Christiaan Barnard Memorial Hospital. Our thoughts are with the patient and his family during this time. We would like to thank the local Doctor and staff for excellent care provided to the patient whilst Paramedics responded to scene. A farmer was left in critical condition today after being brutally attacked between Elands Bay and Lamberts Bay while confronting livestock thieves attempting to steal sheep. According to information from the scene, the farmer encountered a group of suspects during the attempted theft and was attacked with knives, suffering severe head injuries. He was treated on scene by a local doctor before paramedics stabilised him. Due to the seriousness of his injuries, he was airlifted by Netcare911 helicopter to a hospital in Cape Town for specialised trauma care. Three suspects have reportedly been apprehended while police are searching for additional attackers who fled the scene. Livestock theft has been a persistent problem in the area and continues to place farming communities under immense pressure. These crimes are often organised and violent, and they require a coordinated policing response that includes rural safety operations, intelligence-led investigations, and proper prosecution of syndicates behind stock theft. My thoughts are with the farmer and his family as they face this trauma. I hope for his full recovery. There must be accountability for those responsible. The remaining suspects must be apprehended and investigators must determine whether this attack forms part of a broader livestock theft syndicate operating in the region. IC

Two Guards Wounded in Cash Heist on N2 Southbound Near NPC Cement Factory Just after 05:30am, ALS Paramedics responded to an alleged cash-in-transit robbery on the N2 southbound near the NPC Cement Factory in Durban. Two guards were shot, with one critically injured airlifted by Netcare911 helicopter and the other seriously wounded taken by ambulance. The N2 southbound is closed from M7 Edwin Swales, as authorities manage the scene and investigate the incident.

Date - 4 March 2026 Just after 05:30am this morning ALS Paramedics responded to an alleged Cash in Transit robbery on the N2 South Bound near the NPC Cement Factory South of Durban. Initial reports were that multiple security officials had been shot. Paramedics arrived on the scene to find chaos. Paramedics found that Two officials had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. One of the guards had sustained critical injuries and immediately the Netcare911 Helicopter was activated yo assist in rapidly transporting the man to a nearby Hospital for the urgent care that he required. The second security official had sustained serious injuries and was stabilized on the scene by Advanced Life Support Paramedics before being transported to a nearby Hospital for the further care that he required. The N2 was closed from the M7 Edwin swales offramp and will be for some time to allow investigations to continue. I would advise all motorists to avoid this area at all costs. Netcare911 or any private healthcare provider should be saving lives & submitting their bills to DoH. There’s a freak accident on our small road involving one car. It flipped, wheels facing up (strangely) & the driver was pulled out but has been lying there for over 45 minutes.
