Though Iโm joining a bit late, it was definitely worth the wait. This card was actually easier to get than my Infinia! The local HDFC rep came right to my home, had me fill out the floater form, and within a week, the card was in my hands. Super smooth experience!
Hereโs the Game Plan:
Iโll be using it primarily for monthly tax payments of around 60k, which should earn me a cool 7,500 points each time. As long as these rewards last, Iโm all in! ๐ค Plus, thereโs an extra 5x/10x quota for an additional 10K pointsโjust in case I ever hit the Infinia limit, though thatโs not too likely.
As a #ccgeek, this setup feels like a win. Iโm now able to maximize my biggest recurring expense (taxes!) and enjoy the perks that come with it.
With this addition, my wallet feels complete and undeniably heavier with metal cards like the Platinum Charge, Olympus, Infinia, Biz Black, HSBC Premier, Burgundy Private, and Magnus Burgundy.

HS-BC is coming up with a new premium credit card comparable to Infinia and Prestige within 2-3 months with annual fees ~20k.
My take: Likely they will revamp the existing Premier MasterCard and will be open to all customers with paid version.
