Me: The thing about filament is, each company excels in one area or another. On one hand
@cookiecad has the perfect purple in my 3 most used materials. But
@SirayaTech has some of the best engineering grade filament along with
@Polymaker_3D . But as far as who has the most TPU color range,
@Overture3D absolutely kills it. As far as
@hueforge is concerned you want every color of the rainbow in 3 different transparencies, but not one company has anything close to that. But like whos the best bang for your buck if you are trying to fill out a library?
@sunluofficial ? Numakers? Or some off brand amazon brand? Maybe you want to build a voron, is
@West3DPrinting the best route to go because of their asa offerings? Then we get into whos white labeling for who and are some colors the same because its actually the same filament or just coincidence. Does it actually matter in the grand scheme? And whats up with cardboard spools vs plastic spools? Why arent all spools standardized so we can stop printing adapters in 2026?!
Them: “uhh.. I just wanted to know if you thought this bogo was a good deal..?”
