Born from the happiness of the world's first spring, Pommpums are magical mammalian creatures native to Vernalia, a hidden world connected to Earth through ancient magical portals. Known for their living ribbons, fluffy ear pom-poms, chest gems, and cheerful personalities, Pommpums spend their lives exploring, creating, collecting treasures, and making friends. ┈┈┈ ✦ What Makes A Pommpum? ✦ ┈┈┈ • A real gemstone chest gem fused to their heart • Fluffy ear pom-poms • Living ribbons attached to the ears and tail • Horns • Mammalian features • A unique magical manifestation • The ability to Animal Shift Every Pommpum develops a permanent animal form during a milestone known as a Shapebloom. Animal forms can be based on real animals, mythical creatures, or even hybrids. While transformed, their ribbons and ear pom-poms always remain visible. ┈┈┈ ✦ Chest Gems & Magic ✦ ┈┈┈ Each Pommpum's chest gem is a naturally occurring Earth gemstone and influences how their magic appears. Examples: • Lapis Lazuli → Water, mist, waves, bubbles • Rose Quartz → Petals, blossoms, hearts • Citrine → Sunlight, sparkles, fireflies • Moonstone → Moonlight, silver mist • Labradorite → Iridescent light, auroras No two Pommpums manifest magic exactly the same way. ┈┈┈ ✦ Design Freedom ✦ ┈┈┈ Pommpums are intentionally highly customizable. Allowed traits include: • Wings • Multiple tails • Additional eyes • Unique horn shapes • Fantasy features • Mutations • Any aesthetic or theme There is no formal rarity system.
