The judgment is the height of judicial rascality.
The Court of Appeal presided over by Justices Mohammed A. Danjuma, Adebunkunola A. Banjoko, Oyejoju O. Oyewumi had in Appeal CA/ABJ/CV/569/2026 and suit No. FHC/ABJ/CS/2637/2025 ordered Justice Peter Lifu to stay further action on the matter until the hearing and determination of the Appeal before it. The hearing for the appeal was scheduled for the 27th of October 2026. That order was dated 22nd of May 2026.
Nigerians and the international community can see the level of desperation of government of the ruling party to either have their way in the 2027 elections or destroy our democracy that was purchased at a huge cost.

Obasanjo and Jonathan are the reason why no Northerner will ever believe that a Southerner will do one term even though they swear with Amadioha or Songo or better still the Bible.
I am from Bayelsa, and we have forgiven Rotimi Amaechi. Most of us will work with him… After all, Patience Jonathan was at his son’s wedding, and the Amaechi and Jonathan families are now on good terms🤪🤪.

Rotimi Amaechi supported Buhari over Jonathan in 2015, because of that decision he lost his political relevance in Rivers.
In 2023, he supported Atiku secretly, his support then didn’t mean anything, he already lost his relevance in 2015, Rivers was for Peter Obi to win even the APC expected just 25% from Wike but unfortunately he rigged Tinubu to win.
Amaechi being the running mate to Atiku when the mood of the nation still says south should have the Presidency for another 4 years ignites the GEJ 2015 memories, not looking good for Amaechi but a good political decision for Atiku.
Doesn’t make sense to pick a running mate from South East and South West when both zones have their Presidential candidate from there.
