I still remember a time when “storing value” in my head looked very physical, something like
#Gold locked away somewhere, heavy and permanent.
But over time, my thinking shifted.
It wasn’t one big moment, more like small realizations. How fast access matters. How opportunity costs quietly add up. How different people now protect their wealth in very different ways depending on what actually fits their lifestyle.
That doesn’t mean old methods suddenly stopped being relevant. It just made me more aware that finance has expanded, it’s no longer onesize fits all, and it definitely isn’t only about what you can physically hold anymore.
At the same time, I’ve learned not to get carried away by every new idea that shows up. A bit of doubt is healthy. It keeps you from confusing convenience with safety.
In the end, it feels less about chasing what’s “modern” and more about choosing what genuinely makes sense for you and your longterm goals.
