With standard off-the-shelf carbon fiber tubes (e.g., 8 mm OD, 6 mm ID, ~500 mm long), the Euler critical load far exceeds the per-strut load from distributed pressure, giving the usual safety factor >6. The skin only stops gas, so it sees almost zero stress. A workable cell edge is around 300–500 mm—that keeps struts well below buckling length and gives a manageable part count for a 3 m sphere. The exact number of cells depends on the topology, but you're looking at a few dozen identical, modular cells.
