Now that Siri is good, the next 3 obvious steps:
1. Integrate all apps, and make it easy for developers. (“Siri, is there a reservation at this restaurant?” and it checks OpenTable.)
2. Make Siri more powerful at taking action. (“Siri, book me a spot.” and it does that, accounting for travel time.)
3. Make Siri proactive. (“Hey there, I noticed that Thursday is usually date night. I know you like new, acclaimed restaurants. The SF Chronicle just covered this great new place. They’re open at 6:30. Shall I make the reservation?” and then it does it, invites your wife, and makes a calendar event.)
Longer term, I’d also expect Apple to try to create its own OpenClaw competitor, delivering a system that could fully operate its software across iPhones, iPads and Macs on behalf of the user.
