Hi everyone! Super exciting news!! I’m finally getting clear aligners in about a month! In roughly 11 months, I’ll have the smile I’ve always dreamed of.
I’ve been self-conscious about my teeth for more than two-thirds of my life, so I’m really proud of myself for finally doing this. It feels amazing to invest in something that’s just for me.
Even better news: When I was a teenager, an orthodontist told me I’d need major jaw surgery for my overbite. Basically cutting my jaw in half, inserting a piece of fake bone, and putting it back together. Terrifying.
But today they told me the aligners should be able to correct it without any surgery! Fingers crossed it all goes smoothly. I’m beyond excited!!
