EuroIntervention Joint consensus on the use of #OCT in coronary bifurcation lesions by the European and Japanese bifurcation clubs. With recent technical and technological advances, it is feasible to use OCT in guiding complex procedures in bifurcations.

Thanks for sharing! Criteria for major dissection according to ILLUMIEN III..... >60 degrees, >3mm length, or inadequate MLA. OCT highlights these angiographic misses all the time. Value of #PCIOptimization is priceless; that’s why I’m so passionate about #OCTCardio 😁

@DrChuckSimonton this is the OCT case I was telling you about. Significant thrombus protrusion through DES cells. #PCIOptimization showing >30% residual stenosis not seen on angio. Improving procedural outcomes through awareness 👍
