Germany announced plans to send 900k Syrian refugees back.
Syria rejected the plan and said they should stay in Germany forever, with German citizenship.
Syria wants them to keep collecting German welfare, a portion of which is sent back to Syrian families.
Now many Syrians have been in Germany for 10 years and are obtaining citizenship. The next German govt (AfD) won't be able to deport them unless they also take away their citizenship.
