BREAKING: Reports that UK forces intercepted a Russian “shadow fleet” oil tanker attempting to cross the English Channel.
The vessel, SMYRTOS, was boarded by Royal Marine Commandos and officers from Britain’s National Crime Agency, according to the UK Ministry of Defence.
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said he personally directed the interception:
“This successful operation delivers yet another blow to Russia and reminds those fueling Putin’s war in Ukraine that we will not let them hide.”

BREAKING: Saudi Al-Hadath reports that U.S. and Iranian delegations are expected to hold a virtual meeting to sign a memorandum of understanding, with mediators from Pakistan and Qatar present.
According to the report, U.S. Vice President JD Vance and Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad-Bagher Qalibaf will attend.
