how rewards actually work in run capy run on playfun.
the full breakdown because the big numbers on screen mislead people.
first, the token.
$RUNCAPY sits around $3.6k market cap right now, up ~46%, ath was $18.6k
now the part people get wrong. there is more than one reward number on the page and they are not the same pool.
daily pool: funded by
$RUNCAPY trading fees. every buy and sell drops a small slice into the pot. at the end of each daily cycle that pot is split between the top players by leaderboard rank. so the money comes from trading activity, not from how hard you play. busy trading day = bigger pool. quiet day = smaller pool, no matter how good the scores were.
bonus pool: same leaderboard, bigger payouts, different timing. 1st was showing ~$451, while the daily tab showed 1st at ~$59 for the same spot. i cant promise the exact bonus schedule because thats playfuns rule not mine, so treat it as a larger separate payout that lands on its own clock.
the big $1k airdrop: that’s graduation, not a daily thing. it only happens if the token climbs to $25k market cap. we’re sitting near $4k, about 12% up the curve. so it’s a maybe that depends on the market, not a guarantee and not something gameplay alone unlocks.
here is the key thing about your points: points are not money. they only set your rank. proof, the same 112 points showed $2.21 on the daily tab and $16.71 on the bonus tab. the points didnt change, the rank slot and the pool did.
so what actually decides your payout is three things. your rank, not your raw score. the size of the pool when the cycle closes, which is still moving because trades keep feeding it. and the cycle timer, you dont get paid the second you score, points stack, the timer runs out, the pool gets split by rank, then the claim button opens.
every figure you see mid cycle is an estimate and subject to change. it can grow or shrink before claim time as the pool moves and as other players climb past you or drop below you.
realistic expectations, straight up. the $1k and the $132 are pool and ceiling numbers, not what one player gets. a 9th place spot right now is looking at a couple bucks on daily, low double digits on bonus. climbing the board is worth way more than grinding more points in the same spot, 9th to 3rd changes everything, scoring higher but staying 9th barely moves it. and since the pool tracks trading, your earnings ride the market a bit too, not just your skill.
tldr: play it because its fun first. climb the board to earn more. check back when claim opens. pool is small now, it grows with the game.
