I always ask people to visit the Forbes Billionaires List and study what the world’s wealthiest people are actually doing.
Are they building wealth through fixed deposits, PPFs, retirement plans, or guaranteed 4–6% returns?
No.
Most of them are building businesses, investing in innovation, backing ideas they believe can change the future, and owning equity in companies that create value.
What is easy is not always what is right. The difficult path in the beginning often creates extraordinary results later.
Many people plan their life saying, “I want to retire at 40 or 50.” I think differently — I never want to completely retire, because continuous learning, decision-making, and problem-solving keep the brain active.
That is why even many successful investors and traders continue participating in markets.
Businessman's keep on investing in startups or ideas they belive could shape world. Coz ur not the only smartest person on planet, no matter ur name is Elon musk or something 😁.. Even he invests a lot in others ideas he like..
The challenges, emotions, research, and decisions keep them sharper. Brain works better, you learn to balance emotions - yes few fail to do that also.
After initial failures, many people compare everything with safe options — “I should have done an FD,” “I should have bought a car or a house to show people.”
But if everyone had chosen only the easiest path, we would not have had people like Warren Buffett or Rakesh Jhunjhunwala. Or all this founders.
NASA was funded by govt they couldn't dream so never built spacex kind of things.. Few must have thought of safe retirement few must have thought of something like this but no backing from any1 or not initiated ideas. Elon did & he saw failures also & now enjoying success also.. Again even now his rockets explode sometimes so you can't say you're doing this from years & still. It happens..
Equity investing is not just buying stocks. It is owning businesses, participating in growth, and becoming a partner in ideas that can shape the future.
In my view, equity is one of the biggest businesses on the planet — because it allows anyone to become a part-owner of the world’s best companies.
