The Roebuck
📍15 Pond St, London NW3 2PN
The Roebuck is located opposite the Royal Free Hospital and is a stone’s throw from Hampstead Heath. The nearest station is Hampstead Heath.
This pub was built around 1860 and was originally called The Roebuck Hotel. In 2008, this historic Grade II-listed pub was acquired by Youngs.
This is a traditionally decorated pub with a low ceiling and an almost country-pub feel. The servery is located on the right, with the bar area laid out in front. Just off the main bar is an extended section that leads to a good-sized patio beer garden with arbours, colourful furniture, and a large TV.
The decor consists of a boarded floor with rugs, a mix of traditional and contemporary seating, wallpaper and panelled walls, a variety of eclectic prints, and some nice touches such as the fireplace, cosy corners, and the hops around the servery gantry.
