Building a stronger water future for San Diego 💧
On the Morena South and Middle project, crews have installed over 52,000 linear feet (nearly 10 miles!) of pipeline. Once complete, pipelines will convey wastewater and brine for recycling and purification.

Recently, construction crews assembled and via crane, lifted a 150’ diameter dome to cover 1 of the 4 secondary clarifiers at the North City Reclamation Plant. Secondary clarifiers help separate biosolids from clean, treated water to increase water quality! #Path2PureWater

#Path2PureWater: Progress continues on the dechlorination facility on Meanley Drive! Walls have been installed, and site utility connections are being made. 💡💧This facility will remove the chlorine used to disinfect the purified water before it's stored in Miramar Reservoir.

🚧 #Path2PureWater: Today, construction along Nobel Drive has moved west for the Morena Northern Pipeline & Tunnels project. Crews are installing pipeline between Via Las Rambles and Lombard Place during the day, and the work will continue through Summer 2024.
