Reactive intralymphovascular immunoblastic proliferations➡️ Recurrent theme in

Cases with these proliferations are typically sent by
#GIpath (most commonly in resected appendices or GI segments for obstruction) or
#ENTpath (tonsillar tissue as seen in example below)
Histologic sections show focally expanded lymphovascular spaces filled by B-immunoblasts that may mimic aggressive lymphomas
These B-immunoblasts demonstrate a postgerminal center immunophenotype, with positivity for CD38, CD43, CD45, CD79a, and MUM1/IRF4, and a high Ki67 proliferation index
