In the last @turningpropod, I had an awesome chat with @emmettshine, co-founder of @patternbrands, @ginlane, and Little Plains, and I loved his viewpoint on finding your flow. Emmett talked about hitting that sweet spot where your skills and challenges are both at their peak. But how do you get there? Try stuff out and see what sticks. You’re not going to be good at everything right away. It’s all about experimenting to find what feels natural and enjoyable. When you find that thing you love and that comes a bit easier, double down and go all in. The big takeaway? Focus on what you’re naturally good at and work on refining those skills. I also grew up a watercolor painter, so this is a natural evolution of that. Despite being very skeptical of AI, Im loving that I can leverage that digitally and quickly now.
