Anyone want to give me a crash course in cricket? Or who are some good people to follow in the space.

How cool is this to see. A dad can post on X asking a former MLB superstar for guidance and boom he gets some great feedback for his son. Love this.
Anytime the top of the bat almost points at the pitcher during stride, thats a long way to go to catch up with velocity. Abbreviate the load a bit. Get him to think thru the centerfield wall, not over it. That will allow front elbow to go more directly to the ball. He has a bit of an arm bar (straightening) of that elbow, which also is slowing him down. Hope it helps…

summer camp is the best. it is all about having fun, making memories, and continuing to grow your skills as player.

What the heck is the deal with people talking on speaker phone or FaceTiming in public for everyone to hear. How has this become normalized?

When coaches focus on winning, development doesn’t happen. Coaches don’t want to teach and coach kids how to pitch because it won’t help their team in the short term, hurting the development of players and leagues in the long run. There is a huge need for fundamental practices run by leagues so players can learn and develop. Games at the youth level don’t do it. Yet here in FL you play 2 games and get 1 practice. Because that makes sense. More games, less practice.

P-A-R-E-N-T-S are the root of all of it. This is all on us. They are afraid their player will be left behind if they don't play 365 days out of year. Coaches prioritizing 🏆 vs development. 🤮 It is broken & with the money pouring into youth sports it is only going to get worse.
Overtraining and overuse is one of the worst epidemics in youth sports

If we spend 5 minutes each practice working on our sliding. The baserunner could be safe instead of out and that run could have been the difference of winning & losing. say what you want about sliding. but it shows up at the most critical moments and our players don't get enough practice & feedback on their slides.
This is my life’s greatest achievement: You have no idea how many hours of practice it takes to create this moment. The amount of things that have to happen in sequence. For 11 and 12 years olds. CF sprinting to back up his teammate. Catcher mask off communicating “4” Pitcher backing up the plate. SS lined up to home. CF throw to SS online. SS moving his feet to receive the throw. Catcher in perfect tagging position. SS throw home perfectly placed. Tag applied without dropping the ball. Umpire in perfect position. OUT! In a huge moment in a playoff game. Better than any orchestra. The joy this brings me is unfathomable for most.

We had a great weekend! Stole multiple bases thanks too @BostonRobby and his SlideMVP mat! We starters using @GameDaySignals for offense as well this weekend! (Just need a few more units so everyone has one) Came up just short in the bottom of the last in the semi finals.

A few weeks ago someone made a mistake that could have killed SLIDEMVP. All of our ads. Gone. Overnight. 🧵

Word of mouth at ballparks. Parents tagging us. Organic content doing its thing quietly in the background. We never planned to run this experiment. But I'd do it on purpose now.

Ads buy you traffic. They can't buy you a brand. Most brands turn them off and disappear. We didn't. That's when I knew we built something real.

Let's Gooooo! Way to go Luke. So much to love about this video. Luke practicing at home, leads to this result in the playoffs and gets to celebrate with his teammates. What a special moment.
All the hard work practicing and perfecting his slide on SlideMVP may paid off! Luke slides in for the winning run to send them to the championship! slidemvp.com
